Who doesn’t love grilled cheese? Heart-healthier Smart Balance® Butter & Canola Oil Blend delivers this lunchtime favorite without the guilt.
1/2 tbsp Smart Balance® Butter & Canola Oil Blend
2 slices whole wheat bread
2 oz reduced fat low sodium Swiss cheese
1 oz low sodium turkey
2 thin slices tomato
Spread the Smart Balance® Butter & Canola Oil Blend evenly on one side of both slices of bread.
Heat a skillet to medium heat. Place once slice of bread, buttered side down, onto the skillet. Top with cheese, turkey and tomato and the other piece of bread, buttered side up.
When the bottom bread becomes golden and toasted, flip the sandwich over with a spatula. Cook on the other side until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted. Slice in half and enjoy!
