STEP 1: |
In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, 3 tbsp Worcestershire, salt, 2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder and egg whites. Mix until well combined and shape into 12 oval patties. |
STEP 2: |
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. |
STEP 3: |
Spray a skillet with non stick spray and brown each patty on both sides over medium high heat. You will just be browning the meat and not cooking it all the way through. Keep the skillet on the stove, you will use again for the sauce. |
STEP 4: |
Arrange all of the browned patties in a baking dish and place the onion rings on top. |
STEP 5: |
In another mixing bowl, add the wine, gravy, ketchup, 2 tsp Worcestershire, ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp garlic powder and ½ tsp onion powder. Pour the sauce into the skillet and heat until just bubbly, scraping the bits from the bottom of the pan. |
STEP 6: |
Pour the sauce evenly over the patties and bake uncovered for 30 minutes. |
