You can make your piecrusts from scratch—simply start with Smart Balance® Cooking Oil. This back-to-basics recipe is just waiting for your favorite filling!

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
½ cup Smart Balance® Cooking Oil
3 tbsp cold water

Recipe Steps

In bowl mix all ingredients with a fork.

 

Form mixture into a ball and cut in half for one crust.

Roll between two pieces of waxed paper to the size of the pie pan.

 

Peel off top layer of waxed paper and transfer into pie pan.

 

Remove bottom layer of wax paper.

Fill with your favorite pie filling (we recommend Cherry Berry Crumble Pie) and top with second crust.

 

Helpful Tips:
Less handling, better crust.

Dampen the counter before laying down wax paper, to keep it from sliding while you are rolling out the dough.
