Patty’s Famous Crab Dip

Description: 

A delicious, mouth-watering crab dip to serve on soft pretzels or crackers that will spice up any party!


Difficulty: Easy

Course: Snack

Main Ingredient: Shellfish


Ingredients: 

1 lb. of lump or back fin crabmeat
4 oz. of Smart Balance sour cream
8 oz. of Cream Cheese
4 oz. of Monterey Jack shredded cheese
4 oz. of Mexican cheese
Shot of hot sauce (depending on your taste)
1 teaspoon of Old Bay
1 tablespoon of dry mustard
1 teaspoon of Worchester sauce
Soft pretzels or crackers to serve dip on.


Prep Time: 

30 minutes


Cook Time: 

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.


STEP 1:

 

Preheat oven to 375. Soften cream cheese in Microwave.

STEP 2:

 

Place softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and blend in the following ingredients: Smart Balance Sour Cream, Old Bay, dry mustard, Worchester sauce 4 oz. of Monterey cheese.

STEP 3:

 

Once mixture is smooth add crab meat and stir gently.

STEP 4:

 

Spray an oven proof bowl with Smart Balance non stick spray. Put mixture in bowl. Smooth out and add remaining 4 oz of Shredded Mexican cheese.

STEP 5:

 

Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbling hot. Serve with crackers, or soft pretzels.
