Bring some island flavor to your holiday ham this year with this succulent marinade.

Ingredients: 

5–6 lb ham (smoked, lean)
1 cup pineapple juice
¼ cup maraschino cherry juice
½ cup orange juice
2 tbsp cherry preserves
¼ cup dark rum
¼ cup yellow mustard
1 tsp ginger, grated or paste
1 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp Smart Balance® Omega-3 Buttery Sticks

STEP 1:

 

Cook ham according to directions on package.

STEP 2:

 

To make the glaze, add all remaining ingredients to a large saucepan. Cook at a slow boil for about 30 minutes until the sauce has reduced and thickened.

STEP 3:

 

When the ham has 45 minutes cooking time left, remove from the oven. Add the glaze to the ham and return to the oven. You can save some of the glaze for serving; it will make approximately 2 cups.
