Won't weigh you down like a traditional Alfredo!
1 box of whole wheat linguine
2 tbsp Smart Balance Omega-3 Buttery Sticks
2 tbsp flour
½ cup chicken stock
½ cup dry white wine
½ cup evaporated milk
¼ cup shredded asiago cheese
¼ cup romano cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
12 oz frozen broccoli florets, thawed
5 minutes
20 minutes

Prepare a box of linguine according to the directions on the box, minus 1 minute, saving a ½ cup of pasta water. |

Meanwhile, in a large pan add the butter and melt over medium high heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for a minute. |

Slowly whisk in the chicken stock and cook for another minute. Then whisk in the wine and cook for another minute. |

Reduce the heat to medium, and add the rest of the ingredients, stirring well. |

Once the linguine is ready, add it to the pan along with the pasta water. Toss until well combined and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the sauce coats the pasta. |

I love his recipe and even eat it for lunch the next day. I love it cold. I simply thro a few frozen peas in it and it adds some sweetness. No need to cook any more.....
