2 cups quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup Smart Balance Fat Free Skim Milk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons Smart Balance oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

STEP 1:

 

In a large bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

STEP 2:

 

In a separate bowl combine the milk, eggs, oil, and vanilla. Add to the oatmeal mixture and stir well.

STEP 3:

 

Let oatmeal mixture sit for 5 minutes.

STEP 4:

 

Pour the mixture into an 8 inch square pan spayed with cooking spray.

STEP 5:

 

Bake for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

STEP 6:

 

Serve plain, with milk, or with syrup drizzled on top.

If we are trying to lower our cholesterol then why does this recipe have 107 mg of cholesterol I wouldn't eat this . Try using egg substitute maybe That would make it healthy .

what temperature do you set the oven for this baked oatmeal dish?
